LET'S DO SOME HOMEWORK FIRST!

Look for the Perfect Fit:

Getting the right fit isn't a piece of cake. While there are other factors to consider, measurements play a core role. For a flattering fit do some homework. Get the precise measurements and you're all ready to shop a perfect fit. We are here to ease your confusion with the measuring prerequisites. Here's how to go well!

Check for the Right Inseam:

  • Hold the measuring tape and place the tip in between both jeans flaps. This is what the crotch is.
  • Now from the crotch stretch the tape straight right to the bottom till the jean’s hem, note down the figures of the inner leg seam.
  • You can cut off inches if your seam is too low from the ankle or measure the inseam with a folded hem if this is your usual preference.

Tip: different brands jot down different inseam measurements based on style. Don't follow it unless you’ve shopped the brand before.

Check for the Right Waist Size:

  • Figuring out the waist size depends upon the placement of the measurement tape. To measure for the jeans waist size you've to measure the smallest waist section.
  • Roll the inch tape over your stomach an inch above your navel this is the smallest waist section for most individuals.
  • Measuring the waist through the body is always recommended. If you're figuring this out with a pair of your old pants note the figures from end to end of the waistband and multiply the numbers by 2.

 Check for the Rise Measurement:

  • Measure the front rise and back rise.
  • Point the tape opening on the crotch seam and lay it straight to the waistband of your jeans from the front. Mark where it ends.
  • Similarly, figure out the rise measurements from the back as well.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!

Choose a Customized Option:

There could be a case when you won't find a perfect fit from the attire stores. What then? Try custom-made jeans.

Some brands offer the facility to provide your desired jeans, right according to your measurement portfolio. What's more catchy is they can even clone your old jeans, reviving back their worth to you.

If you're one with an unorthodox body type such as big or slim tall men or a shorter bulky physique then you must go for this option without panicking to shop the best fit in the market.

Choose the Right Fabric:

Lucky enough if you spotted the right sized jeans; it's time to put the fabric to the stretchability test. If the fabric is too stretchy or thin it will snugly fit your lower half throughout the leg giving you a slimmer look. So ideally the fabric that is slightly rigid is a good option to give your torso a slightly wider look that isn't bulky either.

Choose the Right Details:

Want to spice up your attire with a casual distressed denim look? But there's an issue! The rips mostly never line up with your knees on a long leg.

Still, you can try alternates!  Go for one which has holes and cuts on thighs or opt for ones with more rips on each leg flap. This will give a more rough look and a feeling that these details were never misplaced.

If you aren't pretty confident about distressed denim then try the detailing and patterning with shades such as horizontal stripes and lines.

Choose the Right Jeans Type:

Try the denim types that go perfectly according to your sleek and slender body type. Notice if they aren't too slim on you, of the perfect length and the hems are resting nicely on your sneakers.

I certainly cannot argue if any denim design is your preference but if someone even asks a fashion guru ideally a slim fit or straight leg jeans probably be the recommended ones for the tall and slim body type you got.

Why these two? As you slip into a pair of slim fit or straight leg, their slight roomy fit gives you a smarter look. The jeans won't tightly stick to your legs neither it gives a bulky feeling so all in all your legs will look in a nicer frame.

Here go the two worthy tips! Go for a low rise denim fit that won't give your legs an elongated look. Further let your hem unfolded rather than wrinkle the jean at the bottom, gently resting on top of your sneakers.
